Scholarship Recipients Make College Plans
The following students graduated from Brown Deer High School this year and were also recipients of $1,500 scholarships from the Brown Deer Scholarship Fund. They are now making plans to attend college this fall.
Sydney Nelson will attend UW-Whitewater to major in Accounting. Her greatest success was being part of the first ever Brown Deer High School volleyball conference championship team during her senior year. She has been in the district for 4 years.
Kristi Noll will attend UW-LaCrosse. She plans to study Biology-Biomedical studies with a minor in Nutrition. Her greatest achievement was going to the state swim meet in 2008. She has been in the district since kindergarten.
Zach Schimenz will attend UW-Oshkosh to pursue a degree in Math Education. His greatest achievement was winning State Track. He has been in the district since kindergarten.
Danielle Shuster plans to attend UWM. Her degree is undecided. Her greatest achievement is placing 2nd in the country at DECA International Competition in Retail Merchandising. She has been in the district since kindergarten.
Julie Spransy will attend Concordia University. Her degree is undecided. Her greatest achievement has been being captain of the Girl's Tennis Team. She has attended BD schools since kindergarten.
Samantha Weber will attend UW-Madison. Her degree is undecided. Her greatest success was making it to the State Swim meet. She has attended BD schools since kindergarten.
