Alexian Village of Milwaukee Opens New Dedicated Rehabilitation Unit

November 7, 2011, Milwaukee, WI…Most Reverend Donald Hying, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, presided at the October 25 blessing and dedication of the new rehabilitation wing and expanded assisted living Courtyard rooms at Alexian Village of Milwaukee.

The addition, which features 13 private rehabilitation rooms, was part of a $2.2 million project that also expanded assisted-living at Alexian Village. The project involved converting skilled nursing rooms into assisted-living units and constructing a new dedicated rehabilitation unit.

“The project will enable Alexian Village to address the growing demand for assisted-living facilities and rehabilitative services while enhancing operating efficiencies and the delivery of person-centered care,” said Gary Mohn, Alexian Village of Milwaukee President and Chief Executive Officer.
