Brown Deer Scholarships, Inc. is pleased to welcome the Bob Kames Bingo Road show to Brown Deer High School on Sunday afternoon, May 15th, 2011. Doors open at 12:15 p.m. and Bingo starts at 1:00 p.m. in the BDHS Commons. This fun family event includes 21 games of Bingo with over $1000 in cash prizes to be awarded. Anyone under the age of 18 may attend and play a long as they are accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian. In addition, snacks and beverages will be available.
This first-time event is a benefit for the Brown Deer Scholarship Fund which awards annual scholarships to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, citizenship, and personal commitment. Since 1976, Brown Deer Scholarships, Inc. has awarded 1061 scholarships to graduating seniors of BDHS valued at more than $815,000. Last year, twenty-one scholarships were granted, each valued at $1200, to the Class of 2010.
