Nicolet golfers excel, take second
Many superpowers of the golfing world that typically attend the Whitefish Bay Invite were absent Friday. That's what increased fees in a bad economy can do to a traditionally star-studded tournament. But that didn't stop Nicolet from enjoying its day in the sun. (2)

Baseball: Harvey Kuenn Tournament
West Allis Hale and Central hosted the annual Harvey Kuenn wood bat baseball tournament June 25. Whitefish Bay defeated Grafton in the title game, 12-6.
Tennis: State tournament first round
The state's best tennis players put it all on the line during the first round of the state tournament June 3 in Madison.
Golf: Germantown Sectional
Marquette turned in the top team score in the Germantown Sectional at Blackstone on June 1. The host Warhawks were second.

Nicolet played host to some of the top tennis players in the area on the first day of the North Shore Conference tournament May 20.
