Brown Deer - The Brown Deer School Board accepted the resignation of Middle School Principal Marirose Lucey on Thursday night.
Questions have lingered after Lucey, who over the last seven years has served at Algonquin Elementary, Dean Elementary, and the middle school, went on leave approximately three weeks before the conclusion of the 2011-2012 school year.
The School Board approved a new middle school administrative team for the 2012-2013 school year, with three-year Assistant-Principal Ellis Turrentine taking over for Lucey.
Andy Bauschelt and Bruce Kramer will be Deans of Students.
Residents can meet the new administrators at a middle school open house on Aug. 29 from 5-7 p.m.
