Board adds one Open Enrollment seat; keeps class sizes down
Brown Deer — The School District will add only one Open Enrollment seat for the upcoming school year, School Board President Dennis Griffin said after last week's board meeting.
"We are concerned with our class size and will only add one seat in the third grade," Griffin said.
The district will guarantee seats for students currently enrolled under the Open Enrollment program who are applying for the next school year but will not guarantee any seats for siblings of those who are currently enrolled, at least for the upcoming year. Preference will be given to siblings of currently attending students, Griffin said.
