1Two females, ages and residences not released, were arrested for theft of shoes and clothing valued at $300 from Kohl’s, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. The women were seen filling their purses with the stolen items and attempting to leave the store.
2A man and woman, ages and residences not released, were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and warned for trespassing in the 4400 block of West Dean Road at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 17. The couple had heroin paraphernalia, including huffing straws and cotton balls with residue.
3A female, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, damage to property, trespassing and theft at Kohl’s, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, July 21. The woman filled a cart, which she damaged, with clothing and 35 bottles of cologne valued at $1,600 and attempted to leave the store. The female admitted using heroin and had two bloody syringes with heroin residue.
4A car was taken from the 9200 block of North Green Bay Road Wednesday, July 23, and recovered in the 5600 block of West Center Street, Milwaukee, Monday, July 28.
5A male, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was stopped for riding his bicycle in the middle of the road and failing to stop for a red light in the 8000 block of North Edge O’ Woods Drive at 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 24. When stopped, the man appeared nervous and, without being told, emptied his pockets putting two baggies holding 1.49 grams of marijuana on the hood of the squad car.
6A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after putting a woman into a headlock and knocking her to the ground in the 4700 block of West Bradley Road at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 25. No injuries were reported.
7Drugs valued at more than $130, including Hydromorphone, described as an opioid, were taken from the Brown Deer Animal Hospital, 8745 N. 51st St., July 25 or 26.
8A Samsung Galaxy tablet valued at $550 was taken from HH Gregg, 9140 N. Green Bay Ave., about 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. The theft was caught on surveillance video showing a man ripping the item from a security cord and then walking around the store for a short while and then leaving.
9A rented Dodge Intrepid was taken from the 6300 block of West Brown Deer Road about 4:15 p.m. on Monday, July 28. Left in its place was a stolen van. The Dodge was recovered in the 6500 block of North 68th Street that evening at 7:30 p.m.
10A TV, value not listed, was reported taken in the 8100 block of North 45th Street at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 28. A bedroom window was likely the point of entry. When the burglary occurred was not known.
11A 10-inch rail saw valued at $1,199 was taken from a locked basement storage unit in the 500 block of West Bradley Road between the end of June and July 29
12A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for three counts of theft after he was seen stuffing a Galaxy Tab 3 Lite valued at $140 down his pants and attempting to leave Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, July 28. He also had hidden a $9 50-Cent CD in his pocket. The man, who has “an extensive criminal history,” was recognized by an employee as having stolen from the store before.
13Two boys were arrested for entry to auto and theft from auto after breaking into two cars, one at Wheel and Sprocket, 6940 N. Santa Monica Blvd., about 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 29 and the other in the 7500 block of North Port Washington Road a short time later. The boys, who fled the scene in what turned out to be a car stolen out of Milwaukee, were referred to the Juvenile Center. They had taken a $30 bolt cutter from the first car and a $250 key fob from the second and these items were recovered. Damage to each car was more than $200.
14A 2014 Ford Taurus had damage of more than $6,000 when someone stomped on its hood and roof while parked at St. Eugene’s, 7600 N. Port Washington Road, July 28 or 29.
15A Fox Point man was cited for injuring plants after he hired someone to cut down a tree behind a fence on his neighbor’s property in the 1000 block of East Quarles Place the afternoon of Wednesday, July 30. When the man hired was asked why he cut down that tree, he said “He told me to cut it down,” referring to the man cited.
16A Fox Point man was arrested for aggravated elderly battery/domestic violence related after he slapped a relative and pulled her hair at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2. The man had been drinking.
17An iPad, laptops, headphones and clothing valued at more than $2,500 were reported taken from various rooms at the Radisson Hotel, 7065 N. Port Washington Road, July 20, 21 and 22. The thefts are under investigation.
18A purse and contents, including a laptop valued at more than $3,000, was taken from a locked car in the 5300 block of Port Washington Road during the day Tuesday, July 22. A window was broken to gain entry, causing about $200 damage.
19Three Milwaukee men, two 26-year-olds and one 22, were arrested for theft after taking Ray Ban sunglasses valued at $719 from the Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22. They fled the store and left in a car driven by the younger man, who was also cited for fleeing.
20Tools valued at $9,800 were taken from a construction trailer at Lincoln Park, 1000 W. Hampton Ave., July 22 or 23. There was sign of forced entry.
21A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, with three prior convictions, after a one car accident in the 6300 block of North Port Washington Road at 3:13 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23. The woman, who wasn’t wearing shoes, ran from police but was stopped. She had a BAC of 0.14 and was taken for a blood draw.
22A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, both of Glendale, were arrested for possession of 2.4 grams of marijuana at Kletzsch Park, 6560 N. Milwaukee River Parkway, at 1:42 a.m. on Thursday, July 24. They were found in a car near the softball field and both admitted ownership of the marijuana.
23A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, no valid driver’s license, no insurance, two warrants and refusal to take a breath test in the 1800 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 26. He was taken for a blood draw.
24A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of clothing and jewelry valued at $300 from Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. The woman, who had purchased some items that were placed in a Kohl’s bag, walked back into the store and put more items into that bag and then attempted to leave.
25A state of Washington man reported his car valued at $21,000 with $4,000 worth of clothing and a $300 Galaxy S3 inside was taken by a woman he found on the “Plenty of Fish” website and after picking her up in Milwaukee, they went to Day’s Inn, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 7:25 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. Before going there, he took her to Bayshore, where he bought her lingerie items. Later, as he took a shower, she took the car.
26A 25-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving and driving without a valid license in the 4200 block of I-43 at 10:40 p.m. July 26. His BAC was 0.09.
27A blue mountain bike valued at $400 was taken from a garage in the 5700 block of North Sidney Place on July 26 or 27. There were signs of forced entry.
Seventeen cars were stolen July 16 to July 29 in the following blocks: 4600, 5400, 5600, 5900 North Port Washington Road; 1500, 2400, 2500 West Silver Spring Drive; 5600 North Bayshore and North Stanton drives; 2600 West Mill Road; 6500, 6600 North Sidney Place, 5700, 5800 North Lydell Avenue, 5400 North Green Bay Avenue and 500 Glen Bay Avenue. Two of the cars were recovered in Milwaukee.
No reportable incidents.
28Cash, amount not yet available, was taken during a burglary at a business in the 4500 block of North Oakland Avenue overnight July 23 or 24. There was no sign of forced entry.
29Two Milwaukee women, ages 30 and 32, were arrested for disorderly conduct and improper use of a fire alarm in the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue at 2:37 a.m. on Thursday, July 24. The women, who were described as “intoxicated,” admitted pulling the alarm.
30A 24-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after a report of a drug overdose in the 1700 block of East Wood Place at 5:12 p.m. on Friday, July 25. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
31Two males, ages 15 and 19, residences not released, were arrested for disorderly conduct after a report of two cars being “egged” in the 4000 block of North Downer Avenue at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. The cars were not damaged.
32A patio set valued at $150 was taken from a backyard in the 1700 block of East Menlo Blvd the evening of Friday, July 25, and reported Sunday, July 27.
33A bicycle valued at $150 was taken from outside Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, between 2 and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29.
34A car’s driver’s side door and tail light were damaged in the 3900 block of North Murray Avenue at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29. Damage was $400.
35An unlocked mountain bicycle valued at $120 was taken from an underground garage in the 900 block of East Henry Clay Street overnight July 26 or 27 and reported Monday, July 28.
A resident reported an attempted scam after receiving a call from the number 911 saying that her immigration papers were wrong and she needed to send more information on Wednesday, July 30. No information was sent.
36A Whitefish Bay woman, age not released, and a man, age and residence not released, were mailed citations for a noise complaint after a report of them causing a disturbance in the 4500 block of North Oakland Avenue at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30. The couple had been warned on a similar complaint June 29.
37Two unlocked cars were reported entered and items taken in the 4900 block of North Cumberland Boulevard at 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 31. One resident reported a $20 purse and contents including $10 cash and credit cards taken and the other about $5 in change. A credit card was used to charge $79.
38A snowmobile valued at $650 was taken from an unlocked storage room next to a secured underground garage in the 800 block of East Henry Clay Street sometime June 30 to July 31.
A resident reported a possible fraud after sending CVS money cards totaling $3,250 to purchase an inboard motor boat advertised for sale on a website and was now unable to locate the seller on Friday, Aug. 1. She was told to contact DCI-Consumer Projection.
A 26-inch Raleigh mountain bike valued at $500 was taken from an unlocked garage July 30 or 31. There was a report of someone possibly riding that bike a few blocks away on Friday, Aug. 1, but it was not located.
39A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and drunken driving while armed after failing to stop at North Cramer Street and 1900 East Hampton Road at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3. A gun was in the woman’s possession. Her BAC was 0.14.
