Join author Douglas Armstrong for a reading and discussion of his novel "Even Sunflowers Cast Shadows."
"Even Sunflowers Cast Shadows" chronicles the story of Emma Starkey, a spunky little girl trying hard to be charitable and virtuous in small-town Kansas in the 1920s. Emma's calculated efforts have a way of backfiring with tumultuous consequences in Douglas Armstrong's poignant coming-of-age story, which spices its tales of engaging disasters with oddball neighbors and youthful hijinks.

Join us tonight, Tuesday April 19th, for our Spring Cupcake Decorating Event!
The doors will open at 6:00 PM, and supplies are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
And remember, we will be awarding prizes for the best cupcakes! If you choose to enter, we will be taking photos of your cupcake, and let the public decide next week which cupcakes are the best!
