Changes to the Business Operations of the Brown Deer Police Department!
Effective December 1, 2011, night parking permission should be obtained by going to the Village’s website, http://www.browndeerwi.org and clicking on “Overnight Parking” in the right column. Fill out the required fields and click “Continue” and you will receive a confirmation number. All other overnight parking procedures remain in effect and unchanged.
Impaired Driving – Not Just Alcohol
December marks the eighth anniversary of the enactment of a Wisconsin law that prohibits drivers from having any detectable amount of a controlled substance in their system, such as marijuana or cocaine, while operating a motor vehicle. The law also makes the legal penalties for drugged driving the same as drunken driving.
