APRIL 19: RIGHT-WING DATE
April 19th has become a celebratory date for American right-wingers. Here is what the right-wing commemorates on this date:
Timothy McVeigh's bombing of innocent Americans in Oklahoma City.
The Branch Davidian hold-out in Texas.
Idaho militia armed to confront the U.S. government...illegally.
Montana militia armed to confront the U.S. government...illegally.
There are more incidents and strange happenings in the U.S. that are now bunched together to be celebrated and commemorated on April 19th. The right-wing openly acknowledges this.
Please stop and consider this. This is the way the right-wing in the U.S. chooses to identify themselves. They further want to be allowed to carry concealed weapons without any training, licensing, etc. Even trained police officers, with ample training, make horrible mistakes with guns. But strangely, gun nuts think that this concealed weapon carrying will protect them from the U.S. government [of course the U.S. government has tanks, missiles, nuclear weapons, unmanned surveillance objects, radar, high-tech equipment, ad infinitum]. But this is how the right-wing fringe thinks.
Now imagine this group in power in the U.S. Imagine them in control of our nuclear weaponry. Imagine them making decisions about war. Imagine them making decisions about invasions. Imagine them hiring and firing generals. Imagine their finger on the nuclear button.
When the right-wingers shout loudly against taxes, government, etc., it may sound right to some Americans. But make no mistake about it, they will become, if elected, tools and puppets and robots for the military-industrial corporations who have already proven that they have no qualms about sacrificing lives for their profits. Right-wingers have no clue about the schemes of the military-industrial corporations. The right-wing in America has been convinced by greed-capitalism that war is good, invasions are like toys, and America should have the right to run over anybody it wishes.
There it is, Americans, laid out clearly for you. April 19th. The right-wing intends to do exactly what it says it will. Remember, these people look upon Timothy McVeigh as a hero, as a man who represents what they stand for.
