RIGHT-WING CHARLATANISM
Liestening to the right-wing frauds, one would think that original sin began with progressives and is getting worse every day. To read and listen to the right-wingers one would think the Democrats are in league with Satan, and that politics would be so much cleaner if we all surrendered to the right-wing, the tea party, the conservatives, the Republicans, etc.
Some of the favorite deceptions foisted on us by the right-wing is that they are pure and anybody to the left of Dick Cheney is a communist.....a sinful commie. Let's take a look at the pure and holy right-wing leaders...
Dick Cheney: although a daughter of his is a lesbian, Papa was unrelenting in chastising gays and passing judgment on them. I write this the day after Father's Day. Good ole Papa Dick.
Rush Limbaugh: how many times does he have to get divorced before we stop listening to him dictate to us about marriage, sin, morals, etc.? Remember, it was Rush who was caught smuggling illegal drugs into the U.S.
Newt Gingrich: Imagine a guy divorced several times, who told his wife he was leaving her as she lay in a hospital bed having been diagnosed with cancer. Newt is the personification of sleaze. Yet he remains a force in the Republican Party, while he tells us all how to conduct our lives.
The Bush family: At least since Prescott Bush, this family has never shown its total loyalty to any nation other than Saudi Arabia, from whence it got its wealth. Son and grandson, both Presidents, continue their close relationship with the Saudis. It began when Prescott illegally slid through the blockade of Nazi Germany to sell oil to HItler who was fighting and killing Americans.
Karl Rove: this divorcee loves to tell the world how to conduct their marriage affairs, and loves to tell us how dangerous single-sex marriages are. Gay marriages, even with children, are today more long-lasting than "regular" marriages. And if you have to be instructed as to the lies and deceptions of Karl Rove, you simply have not been paying attention.
George Romney: He has changed his stated view on dozens of issues to fit the climate of politics in any given year. Give me any major issue today in politics and I can show you the wide difference between Romney's statements today and 5 or 10 years ago. He is shifty. He is deliberately deceptive. He is for or against an issue, depending on which year it is and what the prevailing political winds tell him. This is typical of the right-wing lecturers [and he wasn't even very right-wing until it became necessary for him to get the Republican nomination].
Need I go on? Lies, deceptions, sleaze, lecture, right-wing judgmentalism, ad infinitum. What a group!
