DECEPTION MOVES TO NEW HAMPSHIRE
In Iowa we had the parade of holy liars, saintly deceptors, strutting deceivers. Now that glorious group of Republican presidential candidate hopefuls moves to New Hampshire. Truthfully, is this the best we can do?
When will it be revealed in the media about Santorum's corrupt mortgage arrangement? Pay to play for the then-Senator? I give you money, you get me some legislation that will make me a ton of money. And for good measure, once it passes you will receive a very favorable mortgage for your new home.
In the face of Ron Paul's openly expressed bigotry, and Newt Gingrich's adulterous life, perhaps it doesn't bother you as much. But it should. A U.S. Senator getting legislation specifically favorable to those who donated to his election campaign? Huh?
These guys mentioned above make Mitt Romney look like the saint they are trying to portray for the duped public. The suckers who vote for these guys seem satisfied that their democracy is being taken away from them. The GOP voters seem to think it is okay to do favors for big business and war corporations, and get campaign money in return for favors granted.
Obama is cutting back military expenditures. This is against the common belief that an elected official, let along the President of the United States, must show allegiance and bow down to the profitable war machine. However Obama has not done much to stop rewarding Wall Street profiteers from holding leadership roles in his administration.
It is all a sorry state of affairs. Very sad. And the voters don't want to be bothered with information and facts. Leave that to the historians. People take sides in elections and don't know a damn thing about the issues and the candidates. Imagine, the leading Republican candidate for the presidential nomination, Mitt Romney, has to run away from a very successful action he took to reform health care when he was Governor of Massachusetts...run away from it...even though the overwhelming number of people in Massachusetts love it and support the health care reform. Amazing. Alarming, Disgusting. Repeat: Romney has to run away from doing good for the public because his party, Republican, would not accept him if he heralded his Obamacare-like success.
This is your American democracy in action. And all the while the leading candidates for President hide their political sins and parade around as though they are Saint Francis of Assisi or Mother Teresa.
Is there still time? Will Americans wake up before they totally lose their democracy? Look around you. Do you think your children are inheriting the democracy you love and fought for? You are being played for a sucker. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. And you support this???
