AS I WROTE PREVIOUSLY...
I severely criticized the use of the fracking method of extracting natural gas. Its dangers to the environment are obvious, yet it continues. But its horrible impact on peoples' lives is becoming more and more obvious. Yet mining companies and utilities gain more and more permission to continue on with this deadly practice. After states all over the U.S. have had horrid examples of physical and biological damage to humans, the beat goes on to use fracking to draw out more natural gas. The extraction via fracking is anything but natural, it is a catastrophe. Wyoming is the latest state to have human bodies wasted by fracking. When will it ever end? When will we ever learn?
I gave explicit examples of the long history of immoral and unethical behaviors by Newt Gingrich. Yet he leads in the polls to receive the Republican nomination to run for President. Huh? More revelations and testimony by members of his own party are being revealed every day. Newt is not suited for anything that requires trust, honesty, and reliable human endeavor. He is a disgrace, not only as a candidate, but he is a disgrace as a human being.
There is a growing movement among right-wing, greedy, corporations and individuals to de-regulate laws that are designed to protect the environment and humans [see "fracking" above]. I have written and spoken about this often. We are in peril to right-wing greed to get rid of any conscience in the body politic. It is not only a danger to us now, but it is putting our children and grandchildren in danger forever. Unbridled capitalism in its worst selfishness is scheming to dig wherever they want and however they want, to drill wherever they want and however they want, to puke into the air chemicals and other agents that are killing people [especially minority people in congested inner cities and in remote places where there is little oversight], to render drinking water so toxic that it is killing children now, and extends out worldwide where we think we can bomb and kill wherever we damn well please. America is not only in decline to become nothing but a pawn to greedy corporations and financial groups, it is a bully and threat to the world. Why do we somehow twist things so that we give our greed-capitalism a free reign to do what it pleases? Look around you to find obvious evidence everywhere.
Growing jobs in Wisconsin is getting easier for the right-wing. Regulations to protect people and the environment are being ignored or changed so mining can expand and go on with fewer regulations. When it comes to greed corporations doing business, profits come in first while humans come in down the line someplace. We are butchering ourselves for the riches for the richest. This is democracy?
How sick do we allow ourselves to become before we wake up to the suicide inherent in greed? At what profit price are we willing to sacrifice our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loved ones? Is there a tiny speck of humanity, compassion, empathy, and sense left in the U.S.?
