GINGRICH: SLEAZE CHAMP

Ok, so Newt Gingirch criticized Freddie Mac and while doing so took $1.6 million from them for the "help"  he gave them...no matter that they went under from his advice.  Gingrich has a way with double-dealing.  And now that he has been caught with his hand grabbing every buck he could from that failed "bank," he announces that Congressman Barney Frank should go to prison for supporting the same institution that Newt advised.  The difference between Newt and Barney is that Newt got lots of money for services rendered, and he has yet to prove that Frank did anything wrong, let alone why he should go to prison.  Good ole Newt.

No matter, leaving Congress and becoming a lobbyist or "adviser" is nothing new.  Past Congressional leaders have used their taxpayer-funded experience to become rich.  With Newt, there is more, and his history of unsavory actions is vomit-inducing.

As Congressman Newt Gingrich was leading the charge to impeach President Bill Clinton, Newt was himself fooling around with young staffers.  Yes, that is truly disgusting.  But there is more.

When Newt's wife was diagnosed with cancer at a hospital, he took the time to visit her in her room and inform her that he was divorcing her.  How's that for superlative sleaze?

Let's run down SOME of sleazy Newt's history...

When 16 years old, Newt began dating his high school geometry teacher, Jackie Battley.  They later married when he was 19 and she was 26.  They had two kids.

While married to Jackie, Newt had an affair with Marianne Ginther.  He told his wife, Jackie, that he was divorcing her as she lay in a hospital bed having been diagnosed with a terminal illness.  Newt became extremely resistent to paying any alimony or support.

While Speaker of the House, Newt was charged with 84 ethics violations and for lying to the House Ethics Committee.  He was fined $300,000 and that was the only time in U.S. history that a Speaker was disciplined.

While Newt criticized President Clinton for lying about Monica Lewinsky , Newt spoke to conservative Christian groups about morality and Christian principles.  He later revealed that he was having an affair with a much younger woman, Calista Bisek.

Shortly after his 2nd wife, Marianne, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and on Mother's Day, Newt told her that he would be divorcing her to marry Calista.

The sleazy story of Newt Gingrich goes on and on.  And now he is being considered for the United States presidency.  And his place in the presidential polls is rising past Heman Cain, who has been hardly a font of morality himself.  Read about Newt.  His immorality and sleaze are everywhere; all you have to do is look and read.
