LOCKED IN WEB OF IGNORANCE
Yes, the Tea Party depends on the ignorance of Americans. Yes, the Tea Party followers are suckers for big business, big corporations, and the greediest of wealthy people. There are parallels to Germany in the 1920s and early 1930s. Economic chaos. Joblessness. Uncertain future. Polarization and extremism in the political arena. You know who and what stepped in to "save" Germany. Hitler and the Nazis, paritally funded by American corporations and wealthy individuals. Henry Ford and du Pont helped Nazism grow.
Today we are in a similarly confused and hateful state in the U.S. Who is your leader? Where do you turn to find sanity in politics? The two major political parties have gone off the extreme end. Grasping for straws, Americans have become very vulnerable to those who promise them the moon, lie, deceive, and blame "the other." America is ripe to be picked. And the most demonic politicos are trying successfully to play it to their advantage. Their future looks brighter because they can continue their lying and deception because they have access to bottomless bags of money from the "rich and famous." And suckers are ready and willing to take the hook.
Money is everywhere to support devious causes that give tax breaks to big corporations and wealthy individuals. Greed reigns supreme. And the suckers are there for the taking. The future looks bleak, but the extreme right-wing has golden hopes, theological magic, and promises of happiness for the "right" people.. All you have to do is turn everything over to the military-industrial complex and wealthy families. It is the 21st century's redition of the snake oil salesman. Step right up.
Sure the Koch brothers are throwing in tons of money to support the right-wing extreme. But there are tons more where that came from. And the right-wing Supreme Court has ruled in 2010 that Super Political Action Committees can raise as much money as they wish to support their candidates, and you, Average Citizen, have no right to know who or how much. And so these Super PACs are pouring amazing amounts of money in support of right-wing candidates with bottomless amounts of money for the future elections [especially to kick out that "other" in the White House]. It is a WHITE House after all, and we have to relieve him of his status.
A lot of this money is coming from Texas, as it did for Bush-Cheney. But their political money was peanuts compared to currently. And don't you love the Snake Oil names of these Super PACs: Restore Our Future, Make Us Great Again [Mike Toomey's group for Rick Perry], American Crossroads [Karl Rove's group], Citizens for A Working America [Michele Bachmann supporters], etc.
Here's my suggestion for the next right-wing Super PAC: Oranization to Call Upon God to Support Greed Capitalism and White People Who Are Straight and Would Never Have An Abortion but Think We Should Get Rid of All Enviromental Groups and Start Another War Someplace So We Can Support Our Troops and the Military-Industrial Complex, Amen.
