Not only did Rupert Murdoch lie over and over to English officials, evidence has been presented that clearly shows hacking and other illegal matters were discussed regularly by the staff of Murdoch's papers in England. And it looks as though old Rupert is going to throw his son to the wolves. What else would one expect from this right-wing, sleazy entrepreneur?
I just took out a dvd movie and watched it in awe. The title is "Casino Jack' and it stars Kevin Spacey. Spacey was nominated for a Golden Globe last year for his role in this film. It is the story of Jack Abrahamoff, the slick and slimey power that brought Tom DeLay to head the House of Representatives. He was involved with almost every right-wing politician in Washington. His involvement is portrayed with President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain, Tom DeLay, and most of the right-wing leaders in Washington. His holier-than-thou dealings with Jewish and Christian leaders is shown. He cheated the American Indians in his dealing with them regarding casino licenses. Is this all true? Well, folks, names are mentioned, specific events and incidences are mentioned, etc. The crude and corrupt nature of Republican leadership is laid bare. One would think that lawsutis would be flying if the film told lies. But it doesn't. It TELLS THE TRUTH.
Isn't it sickening how Perry and Bachman have publicly snuggled up to Jesus? The falsetto songs of the evangelical right-wing are about as low as one can go. And the suckers take the bait and eat it up. They already swallowed the bait of the greedy wealthy and big corporations. But they want more. Their own greed has swallowed them up into a plague of lies, distortions, deceptions, untruths, etc. What in the world do these right-wing suckers think they will gain from the right-wing? Don't they see how doomed our nation looks since the emergence of the bible-toting, greedy, self-serving leaders have entered the picture? Please, can some common sense find its way to the American citizenry to save our nation?
It is interesting to watch the Republican spin on the Wisconsin recalls. They lost two seats and are calling that a victory. But too much of the populace has started to drink the right-wing Kool-Aid.
Greed trumps principle in American politics today.
Have you noticed all the amazing myths that Bachmann and Perry want us to believe, but they just can't bring themselves to believe that global warming is going on. Perry also thinks that people who do not believe what he believes are traitors. We may soon have a huge tent on the lawn of the White House for a good old fashioned revival meeting. Perry and Bachmann have the secret to saving the United States. Believe brother! Believe! And you will be rewarded greatly [after all it is all about greed and avoiding taxes and adding to your own stash...Hallelujah, Jesus]. Jesus Saves! [why don't you at the First National Bank].
