Hello Neighbor:
You are reading Brown Deer Mom’s first entry. My name is Kim. I’m a mom to two adorable girls. As of this writing, the youngest is in pre-school. My oldest is in K-5.
I love Brown Deer! We like our home, spacious backyard and quiet, winding streets that are perfect for kids learning to ride a bike. I’m writing this blog hoping to connect with more parents.
There was a time when neighbors introduced themselves to new neighbors with cakes, pies or other homemade treats. I don’t think that happens anymore. If busy parents meet at all, it’s at the kid’s school or on Facebook and the like. So, given today’s lifestyle, I thought we could meet here.
I’m going to write about our Brown Deer experience but other things too. In fact, topics may touch on anything from homework to life at Brown Deer Pond to my love for Hanna Andersson kids clothes (and no, I didn’t get paid to say that.)
